Talk in present
Today I asked my instructor in IEP about a grammar question. I asked her why did some of the books use present tense when its telling a story. Why did some books use present tense when the characters are repeating things that had already happened? She answered that we can always "tell a story" in present tense. We can act like that it is happening, always present, and make it like a playback, like drama.

*why do.... when telling (omit its)
ReplyDelete[notice your inconsistency -- why does in 1st sentence, why did in 2nd sentence... when the rest of your sentence is almost the same. what is the message u are trying to put across?]
*that had already happened
